Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Announces Date; Maccioni Out at Aria Las Vegas

SINGAPORE— The award-bestowers behind the World's 50 Best Restaurants have announced the 2015 date for its Asia's 50 Best Restaurants ceremony: According to a press release, the continent's top restaurants will be crowned in Singapore on March 9. 2015. LAS VEGAS— Although the Maccioni family just expanded to Abu Dhabi, they're having a tougher time of things closer to home: Eater Vegas reports its Sirio restaurant will close the first week of December, after a five-year run. The impending shutter leaves Le Cirque the last Maccioni restaurant standing in Las Vegas, and here's a tantalizing rumor: Eater Vegas hears rumblings that NYC's Carbone might be eyeing the space. [ELV]

PITTSBURGH— Philadelphia chef Adam Leonti will represent his boss's Vetri Foundation during a visit to Pittsburgh's Bar Marco on November 23.
