Chef Naomi Pomeroy of Beast in Portland will write her first book for Ten Speed Press, the publisher tells Eater. Entitled Oui: Lessons From an Award-Winning Self-Taught Chef, the book will "[combine] Julia Child’s classical aesthetic and ambition to teach the world how to cook with Pomeroy’s own unique history, style, and verve." So a rock-n-roll version of Mastering the Art of French Cooking? Pomeroy is a James Beard Award winner and a former Food & Wine Best New Chef. No word on when this is coming out yet; stay tuned.
UPDATE: According to Ten Speed, the book will be published Fall 2016.
