LONDON— Parisian institution Taillevent has announced plans to open up in London: According to Yahoo News, the restaurant will open a branch of its brasserie concept Les 110 de Taillevent in an as-yet-unnamed London location. As with its Paris outpost of Les 110, the restaurant will feature 110 wines by the glass, with a special menu designed for pairing. Per Yahoo, each dish on the "sommelier" menu "appears next to a list of four recommended wines in different price ranges." Les 110 de Taillevent London will open in spring 2015. [Yahoo]
PORTLAND— PDX's long-stewing James Beard Public Market is one step closer to reality: Eater PDX reports that Norway-based design firm Snøhetta, which designed NYC's National September 11 Memorial Museum, has been tapped to design the project.
