One of this season's most highly anticipated cookbooks is about to drop: Sean Brock, the chef and owner of Husk in Charleston and Nashville has come out with his first cookbook, Heritage. Eater's own Paula Forbes said of Heritage: "Arguably the most eagerly anticipated Southern cookbook in years, Brock's book runs the gamut from the home-cooked recipes of his childhood to the upscale foods of his restaurants."
Officially on sale as of October 21, Brock will begin a 19-city book tour on October 19 with a launch party at Charleston's McCrady's Restaurant. The $65 ticket includes drinks, passed appetizers, and a signed copy of the book. From there, Brock will hit New York, Chicago, Portland, San Francisco, and cities throughout the South and Southwest.
