Michelin Announces 2015 Stars for Hong Kong and Macau

The Michelin Guide

The 2015 Michelin Guide to Hong Kong and Macau has been announced. This year, eleven new restaurants received their first stars and three restaurants received two-stars. Over all, the region has seven three-star restaurants, 16 two-star restaurants, 52 one-star restaurants, and 78 Bib gourmands.

Hong Kong's Bo Innovation and Sushi Shikon, both of which gained their third star last year, have retained their prestigious rating. It's also been a good year for Michelin bedazzled chef Joël Robuchon who managed to retain his three-stars at Robuchon au Dôme in Macau and at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Hong Kong. Michelin notes on its wbsite that the 2015 guide features over 50 types of cuisine, including 21 styles of regional Chinese cooking. See the full list of winners below:
