Here's a peek at what attendees of this weekend's Food Film Festival (which begins a three-city run in NYC) have to look forward to: not only will fantastically appetizing films be screened each night, but attendees will be treated to the dish or dishes featured in the film directly after the screening. It's a match made in food film heaven.
For the New York City kickoff, festival creator George Motz will premiere his new short For the Love of Beef Rib, a film all about Billy Durney of Hometown BBQ's (Brooklyn, NY) dedication to Texas-style BBQ. During the film, Durney will serve the audience his smoked beef rib.
The Food Film Festival schedule is as follows:
New York City: October 29 - November 1
Chicago: November 20 - 22
Charleston: Spring 2015
