Massimo Bottura Tells Charlie Rose His Book Is About 'Transferring Emotion'

The Italian chef is making the media rounds while on tour to promote his new book, Never Trust a Skinny Italian Chef.

If chef Massimo Bottura of the three Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy was not a household name in the U.S. earlier this year, his current media blitz is about to change that. This week, he visited the studio of Charlie Rose to have a conversation about his new book Never Trust a Skinny Italian Chef, and to explain his approach to cooking, why he aspires to change the reputation of a 'skinny chef,' and how his grandmother, Alain Ducasse, and Ferran Adrià play an equal part in his culinary inventiveness.

Fast forward to the 33:40 mark in the episode to watch to Bottura and Rose.
