Idaho Man Arrested for Throwing a Burrito

Burritos are strictly for eating, not throwing.

A 52-year-old man from Idaho was arrested for throwing a burrito on Sunday. According to the Coeur d' Alene Press, Travis Micho threw the burrito at an employee of the assisted living center where he lived. Apparently the employee had asked Micho a question, to which he responded with "derogatory" remarks. The employee threatened to write him up which only upset Micho further.

He then grabbed his burrito from his dinner plate and threw it at the employee who was standing across the table from him. The employee was struck with "several pieces of the burrito" and the rest of it "was on the wall." The Associated Press notes that he was arrested because he was on a "zero tolerance" program thanks to past incidents. He was charged with battery and placed in jail.

This isn't the first burrito-related crime this year: In July a couple was arrested for having sex on the roof of a Chipotle.
