Chef/selfie-enthusiast/luxury car commercial star Scott Conant may have parted ways with Scarpetta in New York, but he is adding a new restaurant to his roster. A spokesperson tells Eater via email that Conant will open Corsair by Scott Conant inside the Turnberry Isle Miami, a "luxurious resort and golf club" that sits between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant — which will feature both indoor and outdoor seating — will take over the space formerly occupied by Cascata Grill. This news comes just after the chef announced plans for a new eponymous restaurant in New York City named Conant.
The space in Miami — which is designed by Meyer Davis (who worked on Lure Fishbar, The Dutch in NYC) — will also feature views of the golf course and farmhouse-inspired decor. As for the food, Conant plans to offer a "seasonal and rustic menu" of Mediterranean and American dishes. There will be an emphasis on seasonal foods that reflect "the harvest of local farmers and purveyors." Corsair by Scott Conant is slated to open in November.
