McDonald's will soon being accepting Apple Pay — Apple's new technology that allows users to pay for purchases via their phone — even at the drive-thru. 9to5Mac has details on how McDonald's plans to accept Apple Pay. The restaurant chain is currently implementing a system that will let users keep their pricey phones in their hands. Instead, the chain's training materials reveal that the employee will extend the app reader through the payment window so the customer can hold their phone up to the device. Customers will also be able to use Apple Pay inside each McDonald's location at the counter.
Apple Pay is slated to hit the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus later this month.
