Dog owners in San Francisco enjoy naming their dogs after boozeAccording to a new infographic from dog-sitting website Rover.com, residents are (predictably) fans of tech names for their canine companions. Surprisingly many San Franciscans give their dogs wine related names like Pinot, Bordeaux, and Malbec. Other popular names — such as Guinness and Porter — are more beer-centric.

Curbed SF notes that San Francisco is also filled with many dog-friendly destinations: Nearly 180 restaurants welcome man's best friend. San Francisco's predilection for boozy dog names is surprising considering that it is Los Angeles that is home to an organic ice cream truck just for canines.
