Another day, another list: Drinks International, an industry news magazine and awards generator, today released its list of The World's 50 Best Bars. The awards were given out at a ceremony co-hosted by cocktail historian David Wondrich last night in London. In addition to the 50 best bars, six bars won as the best in their respective regions.
For the third year in a row, Artesian in London was awarded the top spot as Best Bar in the World 2014. Artesian is run by Alex Kratena and Simone Caporale, who release a new menu each year around a certain theme. Last year's was "perfumes and smells." New York City's Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog took home the second place win, and London's Nightjar rounded out the top three.

New York: Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog (2), Attaboy (4), Employees Only (5), Elephant Bar (14), PDT (18), Clover Club (25), Maison Premiere (45).
Boston: Drink (36)
Miami: The Broken Shaker (22)
New Orleans: Cure (43)
Chicago: Aviary (13), Three Dots and a Dash (27)
Denver: Williams & Graham (50)
San Francisco: Smuggler's Cove (16), Trick Dog (33)
Seattle: Canon (6)
Though no Canadian bars were included among the North American region winners, the list did include La Capilla in Tequila, Mexico (46) and Licoreria Limantour in Mexico City (47). The winner for Best Bar in North America was Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog in New York City.
