Nearly 20,000 former employees of the Darden Restaurants chain have joined a federal lawsuit alleging they were underpaid by the restaurant group. Former employees of LongHorn Steakhouse and Olive Garden claim they were forced to work off the clock or perform tasks for which they were not compensated; in the filing, Darden says the allegations are untrue and that its wage policies "comply with the law."
