New year, new menu at Grant Achatz's culinary chameleon Chicago restaurant Next: for the first chunk of 2014, they'll be serving a Chicago steakhouse menu. What does that mean, exactly? After a friends and family preview, some images have leaked online (some of them shared by Achatz and Next chef Dave Beran themselves). Spoiler alert: there's 30 day aged sirloins, crudités, surf 'n turf, lobster thermidor, a table-side salad served over an ice block, Next steak sauce, Next matchbooks, and, obviously, a chocolate mint to end the evening. Photos below; do not peek if you intend to go and want to be surprised.
