To celebrate the 2014 release of its Bigfoot Barleywine Style Ale, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company unleashes this time-lapse video capturing how beer "lives" over the course of its brewing. The 60-second clip shows how 12,400 gallons of wort, 1,215 pounds of whole-cone hops, and 1,000 pounds of brewer's yeast hit four open fermenters, and how its "thrashing" over the course of six days results in the brand's classic beer.
