Apparently Alpine Champagne delivery isn't the only cold-climate use for booze drones: Here's a video of a Wisconsin brewery tasting out beer drone delivery to ice fisherman, which brings a 12-pack directly to cabins situated on frozen lakes far from the nearest beer retailer.
Lakemaid Beer Company has tested the drone on Minnesota's Lake Waconia, and its president Jack Supple tells the Fort Mill Times that the frozen lakes provide the "perfect proving ground for drone delivery." The drone can be sent to the specific GPS coordinates sent along by fishermen, and because "fish houses are very uniform in height, we can fly lower than FAA limits, too." Go, watch:
