James Beard Award winning Philadelphia chef Michael Solomonov (Zahav, Federal Donuts, Percy Street Barbecue) is officially working on his first cookbook, according to Publishers Marketplace. It's unclear if this book will be tied to one of his restaurants or will more generically focus on Solomonov's style of cooking. While the wildly popular Solomonov and his modern Israeli cuisine at Zahav are no doubt due a cookbook, it is worth noting that this comes on the heels of the massive success of London chef Yotam Ottolenghi's Israeli cookbook Jerusalem. The book will be published on the Rux Martin imprint at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2015.
