McDonald's is denying a report that French tax authorities suspect the fast food chain of tax evasion. According to the AFP, French magazine L'Express reported that McDonald's is suspected of "trying to avoid paying taxes on 2.2 billion euros ($3 billion) of income from its 314 French eateries." McDonald's confirms receiving "an information request" from French tax authorities, but denies the claim. [AFP]
