Watch Jon Stewart Freak Out Over Bill de Blasio Eating Pizza with a Fork

Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

Last night on the Daily Show, host Jon Stewart had a meltdown over the way new NYC mayor Bill de Blasio ate pizza with a fork and knife recently (calling it "pizza a la Trump"). While Stewart initially claims that nothing short of "roll[ing] up pie in a ball and taking it as a suppository at Grimaldi's" could offend him, he ends up having a full on freak out, shouting obscenities and ranting: "Lesson #1, learn how to eat your city's signature dish ... And when you're in Staten Island, you eat your pizza like a disgusting savage just like every other person in this f*cking city."

Stewart also tears into de Blasio's reasons for eating with a fork and knife, calling him "Kong hands" and claiming "you're a man of the people, eat like one." Stewart has strongly held opinions about pizza, which he made known last year when he fueled the New York vs Chicago pizza rivalry. (Thankfully, that got settled). Go, watch Stewart's latest pizza rant:
