Here are the best selling of 2013, only four of which were actually written in 2013. The top selling cookbook was from blogger/Food Network person Ree Drummond, whose The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays sold an astonishing 367,000 copies since it was released in October. Two other Drummond titles are also on the list, including her first cookbook which was published in 2009. She sold a whopping 670,000 cookbooks in 2013, which is astonishing compared to the 1.01 million copies all the other authors in the top ten sold combined. All hail Ree Drummond, queen of cookbooks.
Other books on the list include a Duck Dynasty tie-in cookbook by Kay Robertson (290,000 copies), 2012's best selling cookbook Barefoot Contessa Foolproof (174,000 copies), a smattering of diet books, Yotom Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi's Jerusalem (109,000 copies), and Giada De Laurentiis's Feel Good Food (106,000). 2013's best sellers are pretty similar to 2012's list, with a mix of Drummond, Garten, De Laurentiis, and diet books, and so on.
