Somalian restaurateur Ahmed Jama, who owns five locations of the restaurant the Village in Mogadishu, spoke at the third MAD symposium in Copenhagen two weeks ago. His talk was about his restaurant, which has twice been the target of bombers (one of the attempts was prevented by guards), and his decision to rebuild after the destruction. Unfortunately, one of the locations of the Village was again bombed this weekend, killing 15 people and injuring around 20. Jama's friends at MAD have set up a fund to help him rebuild; they're currently taking donations. Below, watch Jama's speech from this year's MAD symposium, held a mere two weeks ago.
