To Catch a Critic

Baltimore Sun restaurant critic Richard Gorelick is abandoning his anonymity to host a $75/head dinner in which he'll "talk with local restaurant owners and chefs about trends in dining." He tells Jim Romenesko: "I've scrubbed my photograph from the Internet; for this event we will ask attendees not to take pictures... But I don't pretend that I'm perfectly anonymous, and I'm comfortable showing my face at these subscriber events. If I wasn't, we wouldn't be doing them." The photo, right, appears to be Gorelick.
