The restaurant documentary film Spinning Plates has been acquired by the Film Arcade and Inception Media Group, who plan to release the film to theaters on October 25. The film tracks three "strikingly different" restaurants: a "community landmark" in Iowa, a Mexican restaurant that's "just getting off the ground," and chef Grant Achatz's Chicago restaurant Alinea.
