Parts Unknown host Anthony Bourdain was on the Opie & Anthony Show to talk about his travels and promote The Getaway (he's a producer), Parts Unknown, and Mind of a Chef. Bourdain discusses some of his travels for Parts Unknown's upcoming second season. He talks about the "deranged" Tokyo episode, which will be an investigation of fetishism, sexuality, porn, and sushi in Japan. On the subject of Detroit (which will also be a season two episode), Bourdain says it's a city he "really really loves" and compares the sense of destruction there to Chernobyl. The conversation winds its way through vacationing in the Hamptons to graffiti artist David Choe to what makes a good "fixer." Have a listen:
