Cronut Knockoffs

dsnutzfill125.jpgCronut king Dominique Ansel 's lawyers have been busy of late: Ansel has expressed unhappiness that Swiss supermarket chain Migros has been selling a knockoff using the Cronut name (which is trademarked in the U.S. but not in Switzerland). Meanwhile, SF's Fillmore Bakeshop has renamed its trademark-infringing "kronut" to a pastry called "D's Nutz" — presumably a reference to Ansel's trademark enforcement.
