Giant Halibut Wire

New, 3 comments

gianthalibut150s.jpgA chef in Scotland paid £1,500 for a seven-foot-long, 227-pound halibut and was forced to fabricate the fish outdoors when it didn't fit inside his Dumfries restaurant. Chef Rab McAleese told the Daily Mail that "We had to get three guys to suspend it with a rope from our top window just to get our photo taken with it." The fish, ultimately filleted into 200 portions, sold out in a week. [Daily Mail]
