Nowadays, I barely scan the words that lead up to the recipes." The section used to be run by Amanda Hesser and included many different voices, but according to Roberts, "there isn't a chorus; there's just a two-man Vaudeville act and it's quickly growing stale... it's a sad, cynical turn for a Magazine that used to be a food writer's showcase."
