Vegan Strip Club in Portland Honors Newark Mayor With the Booker Burger

After news broke that Newark, NJ mayor Cory Booker has been exchanging flirty Twitter messages with Portland, OR-based stripper Lynsie Lee of Casa Diablo, the strip club has added a new menu item: the Booker Burger. According to BuzzFeed's report, Booker and Lee became "friends" while working on a documentary about Twitter called Follow Friday.

Casa Diablo is supposedly the world's first vegan strip club, so of course the new burger isn't made of beef. Club owner Johnny Diablo tells the New York Post that the Booker Burger is a veggie burger "with extra mayo, since he's the 'mayo'-r of Newark." Other menu items at the club include Sloppy Joe with "BQ meaty veggie mess" and vegan Nachos. A sign at the club announcing the new burger says the burger comes with "a side of Lynsie Lee thighs!" Obviously female flesh isn't vegan, so let the terrible jokes begin.
