McDonald's has announced plans to add more fruits & vegetables to the menu and to "no longer market some of its less nutritional options to children." McDonald's is partnering with the Clinton Foundation and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation to make changes that will cost McDonald's "about $35 million." Says Bill Clinton: "If we want to curb the catastrophic economic and health implications of obesity across the world, we need more companies to follow McDonald's lead." [NYT]
