Vegas' Upcoming Container Park: Food, Booze, Llamas

Rendering: Downtown Container Park

Behold these brand-new renderings and major new intel about Las Vegas's upcoming multi-use complex Container Park, which will bring several food, beverage, and retail concepts to downtown Vegas. The project, overseen by Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, promises at least 17 bars and restaurants, including a Vegas outpost of L.A.-based Pinches Tacos, a Beat-themed coffeehouse called The Beatnik, food trucks, a vegan "grab-and-go" concept, and a jerky store, among others. The local rumor mill also reports that a llama will be living on-site, and there's also this: "The fire-breathing praying mantis sculpture has been operational for months."

Downtown's Container Park is aiming for an October opening; head to Eater Vegas for more renderings and photos of the park, under construction.
