Watch Vice Drink to New Orleans's Daiquiri Culture

New, 1 comment

New Orleans is infamous for its "go-cup" daiquiris — a.k.a. large Styrofoam cups filled with slushy, sweet, boozy concoctions, and Vice heads down south to "try to get our hands on as many different flavors as we could." While there, they stop into Gene's Curbside Daiquiris (where the most popular flavor, the "What the Fuck," is the shop's five strongest daiquiris mixed together), go the classic refined route at Arnaud's, and explore the fresh-ingredient recipes of The Saint.

The video also reveals the legalities of the drive-thru daiquiri bar: As long as the frozen drink comes in a Styrofoam cup and un-punctured lid, it's totally legit.
