Cookbook author Joseph Yannai has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for luring "recent [female] high school graduates from Hungary, Mexico and Denmark" to his Westchester, NY home and forcing them into sexual slavery. He self-published The International Who's Who of Chefs 2004-2005 featuring "nearly three thousand biographies of the best and leading chefs from over 70 countries, with most providing their signature recipes." On his book's Amazon page, one commenter notes: "The author is being convicted of sex slavery. We were on a trip in Morocco with him & his wife, we had no idea he was so evil." They rated the book one star. [NYP]
