San Antonio Cocktail Conference; Blue Hill's Yogurt

SAN ANTONIO— The San Antonio Cocktail Conference has announced the dates and early lineup for its 2014 event, scheduled for January 16-19 at venues all over downtown San Antonio. In addition to the seminars and classes, the cocktail event will host its fair share of parties, including an opening-night "gala" at the Majestic Theater, a party dedicated exclusively to Texas spirits, and a Bloody Mary brunch. LOS ANGELES— As part of a book tour promoting his new cookbook Daniel: My French Cuisine, chef Daniel Boulud will team with Wolfgang Puck for a collaborative dinner on October 23.
