Upcoming Book Fuck You, Eat This to Chronicle the Rise of Celebrity Chefs

Are you ready for a "narrative account of the creative revolution taking place in modern restaurants and the rise of the celebrity chef"? Brett Martin — who has won Beard Awards for his profile of Danny Bowien in GQ, and for his article about going to Tokyo with David Chang, Aziz Ansari and James Murphy — has signed a deal with Crown to publish Fuck You, Eat This.

The book will specifically look at influential chefs who have come out of Daniel Boulud's restaurants, including David Chang and Andrew Carmellini. No word on publication date; Martin's most recent work, Difficult Men: Behind the Scenes of a Creative Revolution: From The Sopranos and The Wire to Mad Men and Breaking Bad, just came out in June. Stay tuned.
