Chef and restaurateur Robert Wiedmaier's newest location of Mussel Bar is scheduled to open today in Arlington, Virginia. Eater DC takes a look inside the restaurant, which was designed by Hapstak Demetriou+ and features stainless steal counters, re-purposed cargo containers, and subway tiles. The restaurant can seat 244 inside, with an additional 54 on the patio. Along with a menu of mussels, brick oven pizzas, and steaks, Mussel Bar will offer over 100 Belgian beers. Beer is further highlighted by "a sculpture-like lighting fixture" made of beer bottles, above.
