The brewers at Modern Times Beer are slated to open the doors to the tasting room at their new San Diego brewery tomorrow at noon. Eater San Diego reports that the tasting room will feature a marble-topped bar made from old books and a unique work of art: a "21-foot-high mosaic, painstakingly hand constructed from 10,000-plus Post-it Notes" that depicts the famous Jeff Koons sculpture of Michael Jackson and his pet monkey Bubbles. What's going on in San Diego? First the super Ryan Gosling-themed bathroom, and now this? Anyway, Modern Times Beer's tasting room will be open daily from noon - 9 p.m. and will feature the brewery's year-round beers plus special releases.
