CIA's Fall Conferences; 2014 Cayman Cookout Lineup

SAN ANTONIO/NAPA VALLEY— The Culinary Institute of America will once again celebrate Latin flavors and the more-vague "Worlds of Flavor" during its two annual fall conferences. The first, "Latin Flavors, American Kitchens," is set for its San Antonio campus from October 2 t0 4; Napa Valley's "Worlds of Flavor" will fete this year from November 14 to 16 and feature presenters like Andre Chiang, Christopher Kostow, and Dominique Crenn. GRAND CAYMANS— Eric Ripert's annual beach party the Cayman Cookout has announced the lineup for its 2014 installment: José Andrés, Anthony Bourdain, Daniel Boulud, Daniel Humm, Jacques Torres, Lidia Bastianich, and Martin Picard are all expected to stop by the "Caribbean's premier epicurean event," scheduled for January 16 to 19.
