Behold the Dramatic Acabar, Now Open in Hollywood

Major restaurant porn ahead: A former Moroccan restaurant in Los Angeles has been transformed into a "Spice Trail"-themed restaurant/lounge Acabar, and the new owners have taken the structure's existing 42-year-old mosaics and spiced things up. Eater LA reports that owners Roland Emmerich, Jerry Murray, Sue Choi, and restaurateurs/brothers Frederic and Nicolas Meschin (The Little Door) hired Keith Greco to remove walls and add dramatic columns to the 3,900-square-foot space, creating something akin to a "plush European spiced den." The menu by chef Octavio Becerra, meanwhile, features items like "Porn Bread" and cocktails organized by historical era.
