Starbucks_NewLogo_2011-thumb-thumb.jpgA Seattle Starbucks has come under fire after firing an employee who ate a sandwich the chain had discarded in the trash. The Stranger reports that the employee, who is on food stamps, grabbed a wrapped, "marked-out" sandwich from the coffee shop's trash can at the end of a shift; he was terminated by HR a week later for "stealing." According to a Starbucks rep, "it is a violation of our policy to consume marked-out products." [Stranger]
