Earlier this year chef Mario Batali and business partner Joe Bastianich announced plans to open Babbo Pizzeria e Enoteca in Boston, but now it's on hold. Batali released a statement saying: "B&B Hospitality Group is saddened to announce that the project ... originally slated for a fourth quarter open date ... in Boston will not come to fruition. We will continue to look for the perfect location to serve the exciting and vibrant Boston community." [Eater Boston]
