Fast food giant Burger King is getting into the stunt burger action with a new menu item called the French Fry Burger. According to the Associated Press, the burger will only cost $1 and will be introduced on September 1. Compared to recent burgers like the much-hyped ramen burger and the poisonous cronut burger, Burger King's attempt to create a hybrid burger seems a little restrained. The French Fry Burger is "basically a standard beef patty topped with four of the chain's french fries." That's it. No bun made of fries, no chicken nuggets on top, no unexpected waffle usage à la Taco Bell. Even so, Burger King reportedly hopes the new, cheap burger will help them compete with the McDonald's Dollar Menu.
