Chef Jeremy Nolen of Philadelphia's acclaimed Brauhaus Schmitz has landed a cookbook deal with Chronicle Books. His book will be called New German Cooking and Nolen tells Eater: "It's going to feature more modern German inspired recipes geared for the home cook and restaurant professionals alike." Eater Philly reports that Philadelphia food writer Drew Lazor is on board a co-writer and that Jess Nolen — the pastry chef of Brauhaus Schmitz and Jeremy Nolen's wife — will contribute dessert recipes. New German Cooking is scheduled to hit shelves in Fall 2014.
