Chef Gabriel Kreuther is stepping down from his position as executive chef of Union Square Hospitality Group's Michelin-starred midtown restaurant The Modern. Kreuther held the position for nearly ten years since the restaurant's opening, and is leaving later this year to open his own restaurant. The Modern has not announced a replacement and will "begin a search for its next Executive Chef." [-ENY-]
