A bakery in Philadelphia has been caught selling a cronut rip-off, twice removed. The Royal Cafe was selling its "cro-nuts" for $9.43 apiece, until it was revealed that the cafe was buying them en masse from Central City's Swiss Haus Bakery (where their "Swiss Cro-Cremes" go for $5 each). As Eater Philly notes, upon learning about the resell and mark-up, Swiss Haus now refuses to sell its fauxnuts to the Royal Cafe. [Foobooz via Eater Philly]
