Barbecue guru Adam Perry Lang was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night showing host Jimmy Kimmel how to barbecue short ribs. The demo takes place in the show's back lot, where Lang has set up a two-month barbecue pop-up. As they prepare the meat and the sauce, Kimmel wonders whether "mustard moisturizer" could work for human faces and if Lang dislikes ketchup because "his parents were killed by ketchup." While making barbecue sauce, Lang — who Kimmel refers to as the "master of meat and smoke and fire" — can't name every single ingredient in his spice mix, to which Kimmel replies: "Sometimes when cooks come on they'll tell what the ingredients are, Adam. It's a weird thing we do here on the show." There's also a "meatchete." Go, watch:
