NPR's The Salt looks into the global reach of McDonald's. Two-thirds of the company's total revenue comes from outside of the US; it has 34,480 restaurants in 119 countries. That leaves 105 countries — including Vatican City, Bolivia, and North Korea — without a McDonald's presence. [NPR]
