Test Tube Burgers

In-Vitro-Hamburger.jpgThe Telegraph reports that on August 5th, an in vitro meat hamburger will be served at an "exclusive west London venue." The burger will be created from "synthetic meat" that was successfully grown from "the stem cells of a slaughtered cow." The five ounce burger cost £250,000 (approx. $383,000) to create. At this point, the guest list for the tasting is private as is the location. [Telegraph]
