The New York Pie Doughnut, a Cronut ripoff, is now available in select Dunkin' Donut locations in South Korea. This is the first time a major corporate chain as knocked off Dominique Ansel's croissant-donut hybrid, though many small bakeries have tried to make their own versions, even going as far as attempting to reverse-engineer the dessert. Since its launch this weekend in Seoul stores, people have been lining up to try it. There's a two-per-person limit on the "pie donut," and Dunkin' Donuts apparently does not have plans to introduce it into the United States market. Yet.
