OKLAHOMA— Chef Rick Bayless, an Oklahoma native, recently returned his home state to help raise funds for tornado relief. While there, the Oklahoman arranged a meeting between Bayless and chef John Bennett, who ran the old-school spot Cellar at Hightower — a local restaurant where Bayless, reminiscing about his first fine-dining experience at 12 years old, previously stated he "had an experience that changed my life."
