Luke's Lobster Cookbook; Rick Bayless in Oklahoma

BOOK CLUB— Ben Conniff and Luke Holden, the co-founders of the Luke's Lobster empire, have landed their first cookbook deal. According to Publishers Marketplace (sub. required), The Luke's Lobster Cookbook: Real Food from the Heart of Maine, will be published by Rizzoli. [Publishers Marketplace]

OKLAHOMA— Chef Rick Bayless, an Oklahoma native, recently returned his home state to help raise funds for tornado relief. While there, the Oklahoman arranged a meeting between Bayless and chef John Bennett, who ran the old-school spot Cellar at Hightower — a local restaurant where Bayless, reminiscing about his first fine-dining experience at 12 years old, previously stated he "had an experience that changed my life." THE INTERNET— As previously reported, Epic Meal Time's hungry duo Harley Morenstein and Muscles Glasses are the newest spokespeople for Hardee's/Carl's Jr., and now, there's a "behind-the-scenes" YouTube video of the team "getting epic on the set" of their commercial. A one point, they make a nine-patty burger topped with a handful of bacon and two cheese bricks, because of course they do. Go, watch:
