The paywall went down today over at the Times UK, and a bunch of people have been tweeting links to critic Giles Coren's 2012 review of Lardo in London that mentions how "restaurant critics are a dysfunctional family, bitter and jealous behind each other's backs." Tweeted NYT critic Pete Wells: "London restaurant critics are different from you and me.." Jay Rayner responded to Wells: "for a start we don't get the budget to send a friend to another table on the same night..." [Times, Twitter]
